In the hall

You hand Boba to the maid who in turn lets you into the house. She asks you to stay in the hall while she goes off into the house with Boba. While she's away, you admire the paintings on the wall. All of them are portraits except for one which depicts a man stepping into a large oval mirror as if it was a portal of some kind. When the maid returns, she hands you a small bag of dog treats. "This is for your dog," she says, then she ushers you out of the house. You can:

• go up to the kitchen entrance
• wait a little and then open the front door with a key, only if you have one
• go around the house to its garden
• go over to the drive way
